The St. Joseph River Basin Commision is pleased to announce the application period is now open the Commission to sponsor a member to attend the 2016 Indiana Watershed Leadership Academy sponsored by Purdue Extension. The Academy is an excellent opportunity to fine tune your watershed planning skills, network with others in working with watershed issues across the state, and learn from experts in the field on various watershed topics. The 2016 Academy runs from January to May and includes a combination or online distance learning and three face-to-face group sessions.
The SJRBC strongly encourages anyone working with watershed issues within the St. Joseph River Basin to apply however, priority will first be given to direct SJRBC members. All applications will be reviewed by the SJRBC's Indiana Watershed Leadership Academy sub-committee. All applications are due by October 1. A final candidate will be selected by the middle of October. The SJRBC will then work with the selected candidate to get fully enrolled with the Academy.
